A warm ranch-style home greeted me as I pulled up.  The owners had already updated the floors with a warm walnut floors, and renovated the farmhouse modern kitchen.  They were wanting to keep the comforting appeal with a hipster vibe.  The furnishings and textiles were kept traditional.  Next we layered in unexpected elements from the furniture arrangement, to the collected decor pieces, and custom built dining table.  When design captures the family, you get to know them just walking around.
