Living well in this home is about telling their family story. Bringing in these touches was a privilege.  Furniture making is in the family, so there were beautiful heirlooms to serve as a foundation of the room.  We bulked up their picture wall leading upstairs with meaningful documents, family pictures and other treasured art. More art was incorporated with scripture, and pull down charts of species local to the property and the family furniture pieces.  

 

To give this contemporary craftsman style a touch of farmhouse, we trickled in some rustic charm with the rag rugs, metal chairs and simple decor, to name a few.  Finally, we added shots of vibrant yellow to energize the cool palette and clean new lighting fixtures.
